Shepard's® Brief Suite™ 2008

These desktop-based software applications locate and provide authoritative Shepard's® validation, give guidance on format, automatically create Tables of Authorities, and insert Shepardize® hyperlinks to internal documents.

Shepard's® Brief Suite™ 2008 includes the following drafting and legal validation tools:

  • Shepard's® Link™ 2008
    Identifies legal citations in a word processing document, retrieves the Shepard's® Signal™ indicators, and creates links to LexisNexis® at lexis.com®.
  • Shepard's® CheckCite® 2008
    Helps you verify that all of your quoted case law conforms to the language of the case law opinion.
  • Shepard's® StyleCheck™ 2008
    Checks either the Bluebook rules or California Style Manual forms to ensure that citations in your document are in the proper format.
  • Shepard's® FullAuthority® 2008
    Automatically generates a Table of Authorities from your brief or other legal writing.

NOTE:

The Shepard's® StyleCheck™ and Shepard's® FullAuthority® products have been retired by LexisNexis. These products are only available in Shepard's® Brief Suite™ 2008 as upgrades to previous versions. Shepard's® Brief Suite™ 2008 does not support new installations of Shepard's® StyleCheck™ or Shepard's® FullAuthority®.
