Problem Description

You are attempting to re-link tables in an access report but the option for Linked Table Manager is grayed out. This error occurs when you do not have write permissions to the report. Either the file has a read-only flag or it is in a location where you do not have full access.

Suggested Action

Take the following steps to write to the report:
 

  1. Right-click the icon for the report.
  2. Select Properties,
  3. Clear the Read-only check box if it is selected, or copy the report to a location where you have full rights (for example, your local hard drive).
