If one browser on a workstation is having a problem with the LexisNexis® sites, but other browsers appear to work fine, this is likely a browser issue.
The LexisNexis Browser Troubleshooting Guide is a self-service, basic browser troubleshooting site that shows the environment, removes a user's stored authentication cookies and helps clear cache. Attempt to utilize this tool before proceeding to the step by step manual troubleshooting steps.
Take the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve a browser related issues which includes, cache, slow response, downloading, printing and spinning hour glasses:
- Verify the browser and version, meets the minimum requirements to determine if it's certified for the product being used.
- Clear the browser's cache.
- Clear the LexisNexis cookies.
Note: Most LexisNexis cookies can be deleted by clicking the Delete Cookies button on the Display Cookies page. Please type the exact URL with capitalization into the address bar: https://signin.lexisnexis.com/lnaccess/app/ShowCookies. - Ensure cookies are enabled on the browser.
- Verify that the
Popup Blocker
is not enabled or add the following LexisNexis domains.
- lexis.com
- nexis.com
- lexisnexis.com
- lexis-nexis.com
- Disable Compatibility View.
- Disable browser add-ons.
- Add the LexisNexis domains as trusted sites.
- Close and relaunch the browser.
- If accessing the service from a bookmark, favorite or shortcut, instead type the URL of the service into the browser's address bar.
- If you experiencing problems logging in due in an inability to enter credentials, check for running password managers and try momentarily disabling them.
