There are no specific requirements for the LexisNexis® Automated Forms product. Since the Automated Forms product is powered by HotDocs, you must meet the following HotDocs requirements:
HotDocs, the third-party document-assembly platform used in our LexisNexis® Automated Forms products, announced in December 2017 that Corel® WordPerfect® X8 and above is not compatible with HotDocs® 11 (Desktop-based users utilizing Developer, Developer LE, User and Player versions).
HotDocs will maintain support for Corel® WordPerfect® X4, X5, X6 and X7 with HotDocs® 11 until approximately mid-2019. LexisNexis will continue to offer Corel® WordPerfect® templates with LexisNexis® Automated Forms products until HotDocs ceases support, however, customers will need to maintain access to Corel® WordPerfect® X4, X5, X6 or X7 to access these templates, or use Microsoft Word 2007, 2010, 2013 or 2016.

Note: Automated Forms have not been tested in a cloud environment, but it is feasible that the Answer files may be stored there. The Answer files can be moved and associated in HotDocs anywhere they are moved.

HotDocs Graphical Templates (.HFT, .HFD): For the most reliable results, use a PCL-based Laser Printer with at least 8 MB RAM. Other types of printers may or may not print as expected. Additionally, it is recommended that customers print within the 300 dpi to 600 dpi range, as printing at higher resolutions may be problematic. Printers that specifically WILL NOT work, and are unsupported for printing .HFT/.HFD files include: Ink jet printers, Desk Jet printers, Brother printers, Xerox printers and USB host-based printers, even those from HP, such as the LaserJet 1000 series. HotDocs PDF Templates (.HPT, .HPD, .PDF): Please note that with HotDocs Filler, or when PDF Advantage is present, PDF Templates (.pdf, .hpt and .hpd) will have the option to print using Acrobat Reader under Tools > Options > Form Documents > Printing. This allows HotDocs to print these forms to any printer to which Acrobat can print. |
