Note: Most LexisNexis® cookies can be deleted from the Display Cookies page located at https://signin.lexisnexis.com/lnaccess/app/ShowCookies. Click the Delete Cookies button on the page.

 Internet Explorer®

Delete Cache

Take the following steps to delete the cache in Microsoft Internet Explorer® 9, 10 and 11:

  1. Close fully out of the browser.
    Note: If customer is unable to close all browser tabs, skip this step and perform all other steps.  If the issue persists user may need to fully close and restart their browser and Clear Cache again.
  2. Reopen IE and navigate to a non-Lexis website.
  3. Click Tools or the gear icon.
  4. Click Internet options.
  5. Click Delete... under the Browsing history section.
  6. Uncheck all boxes except Temporary Internet files.
  7. Click Delete.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Close and relaunch the browser.

Delete Cookies

Take the following steps to delete cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer® 9, 10 and 11:

  1. Click Tools or the gear icon.
  2. Select Internet options.
  3. Click Settings under the Browsing history section.
  4. Click View Files to open the cookies folder.
  5. Use the Search Temporary Internet Files or Search INetCache box and search for the keyword of lexis or nexis depending on the product you are using.
    Note: Enter Aidentified into search box if using Nexis® Wealth Navigator Powered by Aidentified.
  6. Delete the cookies that show on the search.
  7. Close the Temporary Internet Files or INetCache window.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Close and relaunch the browser.

 Edge®

Delete Cache

Take the following steps to clear the cache in Edge®:

  1. Close fully out of the browser.
    Note: If customer is unable to close all browser tabs, skip this step and perform all other steps.  If the issue persists user may need to fully close and restart their browser and Clear Cache again.
  2. Reopen Edge and navigate to a non-Lexis website.
  3. Click the More ••• button on the upper-right side of the browser.
  4. Click Settings.
  5. Click Privacy, search, and services located on the left side.
  6. Click Choose what to clear under Clear browsing data now.
  7. Uncheck all options except Cached data and files.
  8. Click Clear.

Delete All Cookies

Take the following steps to delete all cookies:

  1. Click the More ••• button on the upper-right side of the browser.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Cookies and site permissions located on the left side.
  4. Click Manage and delete cookies and site data.
  5. Click Choose what to clear under Clear browsing data.
  6. Click See all cookies and site data.
  7. Enter lexis or nexis in the Search cookies box and press the enter key.
    Note: Enter Aidentified into search box if using Nexis® Wealth Navigator Powered by Aidentified.
  8. Delete all the cookies displayed related to LexisNexis.
    Note: If all cookies displayed are related to LexisNexis, you can also click Remove all shown below the search box and click CLEAR ALL.

 Chrome®

Delete Cache

  1. Close fully out of the browser

  2. Reopen Chrome and navigate to a non-Lexis website.
  3. Click the Chrome menu button.
    Note: The button is on the upper-right of the browser and is indicated by three dots.
  4. Select Settings.
  5. Click Privacy and Security.
  6. Click Clear Browsing Data.
  7. Click Advance.
  8. Select All time from the Time range drop-down box.
  9. Check the option Cached images and files and uncheck all other options.
  10. Click CLEAR DATA.
  11. Close and reopen the browser.
Note: There are alternate ways to access Clear browsing data . Press Ctrl + Shift + Del or enter chrome://settings/clearBrowserData into the address bar and press Enter .


Delete Cookies

  1. Click the Chrome menu button.
    Note: The button is on the upper-right of the browser and is indicated by three dots.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Cookies.
  5. Click See all site data and permissions.
  6. Search for lexis or nexis in the Search cookies box and press the enter key.
  7. Delete all the cookies displayed related to LexisNexis.
  8. Close all Chrome browsers and reopen.
Note: There is an alternate way to access the Cookies and site data window. Enter chrome://settings/siteData into the address bar and press Enter .

 Firefox®

Delete Cache

  1. Close fully out of the browser.
    Note: If customer is unable to close all browser tabs, skip this step and perform all other steps.  If the issue persists user may need to fully close and restart their browser and Clear Cache again.
  2. Reopen Firefox and navigate to a non-Lexis website.
  3. Click the Open menu button (three bars) in the upper-right corner.
  4. Click Options or Preferences or Settings depending on version.
    Note: Alternatively, you can enter about:preferences#privacy into the address bar and press Enter.
  5. Select Privacy & Security on the left-hand side.
  6. Click Clear Data under Cookies and Site Data section.
  7. Uncheck Cookies and Site Data.
  8. Check Cached Web Content.
  9. Click Clear.
  10. Close and reopen the browser.

Delete Cookies

  1. Click the Open menu button (three bars) in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Options or Preferences or Settings depending on version.
  3. Click Privacy & Security on the left-hand side.
  4. Click Manage Data on the right pane under Cookies and Site Data section.
  5. Enter lexis or nexis in the Search cookies box and press the enter key.
    Note: Enter Aidentified into search box if using Nexis® Wealth Navigator Powered by Aidentified.
  6. Highlight the cookie you wish to delete.
  7. Click Remove Selected.
    Note: If all cookies displayed are related to LexisNexis, you can also click Remove All Shown at the bottom of the window.
  8. Click Save Changes.
  9. Click OK on the Removing Cookies and Site Data window.
  10. Close and reopen the browser.

 Safari®

Delete Cache/Cookies

  1. Click the Safari button.
  2. Click Clear History.
  3. In the Clear field, choose All History.
  4. Click the Clear History button.
