There are several different ways to navigate to a source. You can view the full list and search or filter to find the sources you want to use for your research. Once you locate the source, you can add the source as a filter or open the source's Advanced Search form or table of contents to conduct your search.

There are 4 ways to find a source to use for your research:

  • Start typing the name of the source in the search box. A list of suggested sources appears in the Sources group
Note: To add the source as a search filter, click the magnifying glass. To open the Advanced Search form or table of contents (if available), click on the source name.
  • Use Search for a source after clicking Sources under Explore on the home page
  • Navigate through the Content Type, Federal, State, Practice Area or Industry, or International tabs under Explore on the home page
  • Use Search Within Sources while viewing the list of available sources

Note: While viewing lists of sources, you may see the following designations next to the source name:
  • Click the icon to view source information for the source. Source information may include the coverage for the source, update schedule and frequency for the source, publisher information, and a description.
  • Sources with a single asterisk (*) indicate you will incur additional charges for viewing or delivering documents from that source, though searching is free.
  • Sources with a double asterisk (**) indicate that source contains restricted documents and you are not able to search for, view, or deliver documents from that source.
  • Sources with the Archived icon () indicate that the source includes archived material and is no longer updated.

If you have any questions about sources available as a part of your subscription, reach out to your LexisNexis® Account Manager. If you need your Account Manager's contact information, contact Customer Support.
