PCLaw Can Not Detect Credit Card Application

Problem Description:

PCLaw did not detect the credit card software after an upgrade of the PCLaw software or because of a failed credit card application update.

Suggested Action:

NOTE: You must use Internet Explorer to download this patch.

  1. Click Help and select Live Update from Web to open the http://support.pclaw.com page.
    NOTE: Click Install if Internet Explorer displays Internet Explorer - Security Warning.
  2. Click Check for update.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Click Review selected updates.
  5. Click Download and install.
    NOTE: If you get the Active Lexis Programs window, close any listed programs to continue the installation.
  6. Click Yes on the PPLiveUp window to restart your computer.
  7. Open PCLaw.

Run these steps on any workstation that uses the Credit Card feature.
