PCLaw Hangs When You Log in to a Set of Books Stored on a Server Running Windows Vista

Problem Description:

PCLaw hangs when a second user logs on to a set of books stored on a server running the Windows Vista operating system. You can log into PCLaw if no other users are signed on. The issue results from limits to the number of concurrent file sharing connections allowed in Windows Vista. For more information, refer to the Microsoft Support Site.

Suggested Action:

Microsoft is increasing the number of allowed concurrent file sharing connections in Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1). This service pack should be applied to each computer running Windows Vista. You can obtain this service pack from Microsoft's website, by performing a Windows Update, or by waiting for the update to be applied by the Windows Automatic Update feature if it is enabled.
