You must have an eReader software installed on your workstation in order to read the eBook. The most commonly used eReader software for PC and Mac for .MOBI files is Kindle Reader.

Windows PC

Take the following steps to download Kindle Reader to a Windows PC:

  1. Go to www.amazon.com/KindleForPC.
  2. Click Download for PC & Mac.
    Note: Depending on your browser, you may need to find the Kindle installer in your downloads folder.
  3. Double click the executable file.
  4. Click Run.
  5. Kindle For PC will start when the install is complete.

Mac

Take the following steps to download Kindle Reader for a Mac:

  1. Go to www.amazon.com/KindleForMac.
  2. Click Download for PC & Mac.
    Note: Depending on your browser, you may need to find the Kindle installer in your downloads folder.
  3. Double click the executable file.
  4. Click Run.
