United States District Criminal Courts and some state courts have the search option to enter Charges and Dispositions under Criminal Court Options on the Search tab.

The Charges field searches for a specific statute or term in criminal cases. Search connectors cannot be used in this field.

  • To find dockets where Charges are filed under 18 USC 1349 run all of the following formats as separate searches XX usc XXXX, XX u.s.c XXXX, XX:XXXX.
  • To find dockets where Charges are filed under conspiracy, enter conspiracy.
  • You can also search for CFR sections, although this is rarely included in the Charges field.
The Disposition field searches sentencing details when the case is Closed. The field should be left blank if the case is still Open.
