How to View your Alerts on Lexis CourtLink

 Click Open in New Tab to view the article in a separate window, this view provides links for ease of use and article navigation. Once you are on the Support Home window you can click links within the article.

 

You can see your Alert results on the Alerts page on the Lexis^® CourtLink^® service.

 Display Your Alerts

There are 2 ways you can display your Alerts.  One way is clicking the View all Alerts and Tracks link on the home page. 

The other way is to go through More. Take the following steps to display your Alerts on the Lexis CourtLink service:

1. Click More.
2. Click Alerts.

 New Alert Results

The system displays a Blue Dot next to the Alerts that have new unread results. If your Alert has no unread results or no new results for your Alert, there is no Blue Dot next to it. You can view the results of your Alerts for 30-45 days online according to the following guidelines:

• Results are available for 30 days for Alerts set up for Daily, Business Daily, and As updates are available notification.
• Results are available for 45 days for Alerts set up for Monthly notification.

The Lexis CourtLink service sorts Alert results by Start date (newest). You can re-sort by any of the other options available in the Sort by drop-down list while viewing Alert results This is the same functionality in Lexis^® Research Alerts.

 Filtering Your Alerts

You can use any of the following filters to review your Alert results on the Lexis CourtLink service:

• Type
• Recipients
• Client
• Delivery type
• Frequency
• Sharing
• Court
• Case Status
• Track Frequency

 Search Within Alerts

Take the following steps to search within your Alerts on the Lexis CourtLink service:

1. Enter search terms in the Enter search terms field.
2. Click the magnifying glass icon.

 Downloading the Alerts List

You can download a complete list of Alerts.  You can download your Alerts in the following formats:

• XML
• CSV
• HTML
• MS Excel (xlsx)

Take the following steps to download the list of Alerts:

1. Click on View All Alerts & Tracks.
2. Click Download Profiles.
3. Select File Type.
4. Click Download.

Note: This feature only downloads your Alerts, not the results.  There is no limit to the number of Alerts you can download.
