The following courts can be searched by statute number on the Lexis® CourtLink® service:
  • U.S. District Court - Civil
  • U.S. Court of Federal Claims
  • U.S. Claims Court

The following information provides guidance on how to search with a statute number on the Lexis CourtLink service.

 Statute Field

Take the following steps using the Statute field to find dockets that list 35 USC 145 as a statute:
  1. Select Dockets from the for drop-down list under Search.
  2. Select the appropriate court from the within drop-down list.
  3. Enter 35:145 in the Statute field.
    Note: Use the format: title number, colon, section number
  4. Click Search.
If you click on a statute listed under About This Document, you retrieve the statute on Lexis® if the statute is available to you on Lexis.
