 General Information

Documents on the docket listed as Runner have not been made available online by the court. These Runner documents are only available through CourtLink® Document Retrieval Service. CourtLink Document Retrieval Service sends a runner to the court to retrieve the document manually.

You can order documents from any court in the United States as well as United States territories and Canada.

You can order runner documents in multiple ways:
  • Click the Runner link next to a document listed on an online docket
  • Click Order Runner Documents at the bottom of the Search page
  • Click Order Runner Documents on the right side of the page when viewing a docket
  • Email your request to drorders@lexisnexis.com
  • Call the CourtLink Document Retrieval Service number directly at 1-866-540-8818

Note: Courts can decide to make documents available at a later time. Update the docket to determine if the document is available.

 Ordering a Single Runner Document From a Docket


Take the following steps to order a Runner document from a docket on Lexis® CourtLink®:
  1. Click Runner or select the document you want to order.
    Note: If you selected the document, click Retrieve Document(s).
  2. Click Confirm & Continue.
  3. (Optional) Select Include all exhibits.
  4. (Optional) Select Call me before processing this order.
  5. Review your Contact Information.
  6. Select your delivery method.
  7. Confirm your address information
  8. Enter additional information in the Additional Instructions or Comments field.
  9. Click Confirm & Continue.

 Ordering Multiple Runner Documents From a Docket


Take the following steps to order Runner documents from a docket on the Lexis CourtLink service:
  1. Check mark the documents you want to order.
  2. Click Retrieve Document(s).
  3. Click Confirm & Continue.
  4. (Optional) Select Include all exhibits.
  5. (Optional) Select Call me before processing this order.
  6. Review your Contact Information.
  7. Select your delivery method.
  8. Confirm your address information.
  9. Enter additional information in the Additional Instructions or Comments field.
  10. Click Confirm & Continue.

 Canceling a Runner Order


If you need to cancel a Runner order, contact CourtLink Document Retrieval Service at 1-866-540-8818 or drorders@lexisnexis.com.

CourtLink Document Retrieval Service representatives are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 8:30 PM Eastern Time, excluding U.S. holidays.

Emails from CourtLink Document Retrieval Service come from the address drorders@lexisnexis.com.

An example of the subject line may look like Subject: CA Case - YC055910 Charles Threadgill v. AT&T Communications Of California In "C/M: 99999-000110MMMM - Delivery Confirmation - Order #21023550.
