Nexis Newsdesk® Admins have the ability to search, view, and edit all Newsletters being used by all users across the organization.

The Newsletters subtab provides a listing of all newsletters. The Name column displays the name of the newsletter.

Editing Newsletters

You can change edit all newsletters being used by all users across the organization. 

Take the following steps to edit a newsletter:

  1. Click the Share tab.
  2. Click the Newsletters subtab.
  3. Click the newsletter you want to edit.
  4. Change any option, such as:
    • Change the recipients.
    • Click the Delete icon to delete a feed from the newsletter.
    • Click the + Add to Newsletter button to add new feeds to the newsletter.
    • Change the time zone or time and date of delivery.
  5. Click Save.

Managing Newsletters

You can Activate, Publish, Send Now, Delete, Pause, Unpublish, Subscribe, or Unsubscribe from any newsletter(s) being used by all users across the organization.  

Take the following steps to Activate, Publish, Send Now, Delete, Pause, Unpublish, Subscribe, or Unsubscribe one or multiple Newsletters:

  1. Click the Share tab.
  2. Click the Newsletters sub tab.
  3. Place a checkmark next the newsletter(s) to select
  4. Click one of the buttons listed at the top of the newsletters list. Depending on your display, you may need to click on the More icon to view the entire list of selections.
Note when using the Pause feature:
When Pausing a Newsletter then Activating, new articles are only going to be retrieved from the date and time the Newsletter was reactivated. The new articles are not going to be retroactively retrieved from the date the Newsletter was paused.

Note when using the Send Now feature:
The Send Now feature automatically schedules the newsletter for delivery via a queue. Depending on the time of day, the queue length can vary. You can confirm the time when your newsletters were sent using the newsletter details send history. 

Note: When pausing a newsletter then reactivating, new articles are only going to be retrieved from the date and time the newsletter was reactivated. The new articles are not going to be retroactively retrieved from the date the newsletter was paused.

Take the following steps to view the web newsletter, copy a newsletter URL, view newsletter details, duplicate a newsletter or delete a newsletter:
  1. Click the ellipses in the Actions column to the right of the newsletter name.
  2. Select one of the following options:
    • View Web Newsletter
    • Copy Newsletter URL
    • View Details
    • Duplicate
    • Delete

Filtering Newsletters

You can filter the newsletter listing in several different ways such as by owner, published, status, subscribed, feed name, and recipients.

Filtering by Owner, Feed and Recipients

Take the following steps to filter by owner, feed and recipients:
  1. Click the Share tab.
  2. Click the Newsletters subtab.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow next to one of the following filters:
    • Owner
    • Feed
    • Recipients
  4. Select the items you want to filter by.
  5. Click Apply at the bottom of that filter. 
    Note: If you want to select options under another filter, go back to Step 3. 
You can click Reset, to the right of the filter names, to clear all filters. You can click Clear All, at the bottom of the filter, to clear that filter.

Filtering by Published, Status and Subscribed

Take the following steps to filter by published, status, and subscribed:
  1. Click the Share tab.
  2. Click the Newsletters subtab.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow next to one of the following filters:
    • Published
    • Status
    • Subscribed
  4. Select your filter by options.
You can click Reset, to the right of the filter names, to clear all filters.
