Update: Microsoft has identified the cause and deployed a resolution with Exchange version (15.20.7316.034). This fix has been applied to most of their mailbox servers and the Outlook to InterAction sync should be running normally on the mailboxes that were impacted last week.

We identified an issue affecting the Outlook to InterAction Sync when syncing mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange Online.
In the Outlook to InterAction Sync process log, impacted users see the following error message when they try to sync: “A MAPI related error occurred (MAPI_E_FAILONEPROVIDER). Component = Microsoft Exchange Information Store, Description = The attempt to log on to Microsoft Exchange has failed”.
We are working with Microsoft to determine the exact cause and a resolution. If your firm is impacted, please report the issue to our support team at support@interaction.com.
