You can search multiple courts for dockets or documents at the same time on the Lexis® CourtLink® service. You can either select All Courts, select the courts individually, or use your Court Templates

 Dockets

Take the following steps to search multiple courts for Dockets:

  1. Select Dockets from the Search for drop-down.
  2. Keep All Courts selected or click the within drop-down and select the specific courts you want.
  3. (Optional) Select the courts individually or use Court Templates.
  4. Click outside the within drop-down.
  5. Enter search terms in the search box or use the individual segment fields below the search box.
  6. Click the magnifying glass icon.

 Court Documents

Take the following steps to search multiple courts for Documents:

  1. Select Court Documents from the Search for drop-down.
  2. Keep All Courts selected or click the within drop-down and select the specific courts you want.
  3. (Optional) Select the courts individually or use Court Templates.
  4. Enter search terms in the search box.
  5. Click search.

 Dockets & Documents

Take the following steps to search multiple courts for Dockets & Documents :
  1. Select Dockets & Documents from the Search for drop-down.
  2. Keep All Courts selected or click the within drop-down and select the specific courts you want.
  3. (Optional) Select the courts individually or use Court Templates.
  4. Enter search terms in the search box.
  5. Click search.

 Court Templates

The Court Templates feature helps you select multiple courts without having to navigate to each court individually. You can use the three templates that are listed by default or create your own Court template. These default templates are:
  • All Federal Civil Courts
  • All Federal Criminal Courts
  • All State Courts (non-Federal)
Take the following steps to create your own Court Templates:
  1. Select the courts you want to include in your template.
  2. Click Save Courts as Template.
  3. Enter a name in Name Your Template box.
  4. Click Save.
