The Scheduled Reports feature of LexisNexis® Account Insights allows you to schedule automated delivery of your cost recovery reports and deliver them to your team.
Take the following steps to create a Scheduled Report:
- While viewing a report, select Save as Scheduled Report from the Actions drop-down list.
- Enter a unique name in the Scheduled Report Profile Name field.
- Use the toggle to include or exclude Zero Priced Events.
- Select if you want to share the profile with others in your organization or keep it private.
Note: When a template is set to Private, only you can see the template. When a template is set to Shared, other admins within your organization can see the template and you can choose to make the template Read Only or Editable. - Select the Frequency of Delivery:
- Daily: a daily report delivered with data from the previous day's use or data from the first day of the current month
- Business Day: a report delivered Monday-Friday with data from the previous day's use or data from the first day of the current month
- Weekly: a report delivered on the selected day each week with data from the previous week's use or data from the first day of the current month
- Monthly: a report delivered on the selected date each month with monthly usage data
- Select the Email Attachment Format from the drop-down list.
- Click View/Change Download Settings to review settings for a report download.
- Enter an email address in the To field. You can enter multiple addresses separated semicolons ( ; ).
- Enter a Subject and Message for the email sent with the report.
- Click Save.
- Select a Base Report. This selection determines the preselected columns.
- Click Next.
- Drag and drop the fields you want to see in the report to the Column Sequence column. Fields that must be included based on your Base Report selection on the previous screen will already appear and cannot be moved.
Note: Click Rename Item if you want to change how the field name appears in your report. Click Save Changes when you are done changing the names. - Drag and drop numerical fields, such as Total Charges, to the Sum of Charges column. Data in these fields will be added together and displayed as the final column in the report.
Note: Click Rename Column to change the name of this column in your report. Click Save Changes when you are done changing the name. - Click Next.
- Click Save.

Access LexisNexis Account Insights at https://accountinsights.lexisnexis.com. Use your LexisNexis® product ID and password to sign in. Once signed in, you see the Home tab with information specific to your account.
